David Henrie: “This is the Year” Live Premiere

Its a Wizards of Waverly Place reunion of sorts… David Henrie, Selena Gomez, Greg Sulkin, Jeff Garlin… its all part of the Live Virtual Premiere this Friday, August 28 or This is the Year.

The film was written and directed by Henrie and stars his real life brother Lorenzo Henrie as a nerdy high school senior who embarks on a road trip to see their favorite band at the biggest music festival of the year in a last ditch effort to win over the girl of his dreams. On their journey, they realize that elaborate plans never go off without a hitch, and that you can find true love in the most unexpected places.

We talked with Henrie about the development of the film, directing his brother, getting together with Selena Gomez, and how hes handling quarantine with his family.

This is the Year Live Virtual Premiere this Friday, August 28 at 7:30pm EST. Get your tickets at: thisistheyear.film and use CODE: DAVID20 to save!
