Good Night Oppy: Mission to Mars Success
“It was a 300-million mile hole in one.”
This quote from the documentary GOOD NIGHT OPPY says it all. The film tells the true and uplifting story about Opportunity, a rover that was sent to Mars for a 90-day mission but ended up surviving for 15 years. Thank to NASA covering the entire experiment the film follows Opportunity’s groundbreaking journey on Mars and the remarkable bond forged between a robot and her humans millions of miles away.
We talked with director Ryan White who worked with Industrial Light & Magic to bring a photo real Mars experience to the audience. Plus the emotional aspect of the mission is captured so well too.
Good Night Oppy now in theatres and streaming on Amazon Prime Video November 23
