Kevin McNally: From Pirates of the Caribbean to The Wingfeather Saga

The best-selling book series, The Wingfeather Saga, comes to the screen this December and we caught up with the cast at the premiere in Nashville, Tennessee.

Kevin McNally from Pirates of Caribbean fame voices Podo Helmer in this epic fantasy series for kids, written by Christian recording artist Andrew Peterson. It chronicles the adventures of the Igiby family as they uncover family secrets, flee the evil Fangs of Dang, and make a stand against the mysterious ruler, Gnag the Nameless.

We talked with McNally about finding the right voice and tone for the character, getting to see the animation brought to life and what still excited him when it comes to making movies.

We can’t wait for audiences to experience The Wingfeather Saga when it streams December 2 on Angel Studios App.
