Tom Hanks: Authenticity, Truth & Power of Perspective
.
.
Five years after the Civil War, Tom Hanks stars as Capt. Jefferson Kyle Kidd who crosses paths with a 10-year-old girl taken by the Kiowa people. In News of the World, Kidd agrees to escort the child across the harsh and unforgiving plains of Texas to her Aunt and Uncle. However, the long journey soon turns into a fight for survival as the traveling companions encounter danger at every turn — both human and natural.
We loved our conversation with Hanks about authenticity, living in truth, and the power of perspective. Plus he says a fun story that was formative to the beginnings of his success.
