Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus on Lasting Marriages
She’s been married more than 30 years, and he’ll be married 20 years this summer, so it’s safe to say Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell know a thing or two about making their marriages.
Both star on-screen in the comedy-drama Downhill which is a remake of the dark Swedish comedy Force Majeure. Dreyfus stars as a woman who starts to have second doubts about her husband, played by Ferrell, after he runs away from an approaching avalanche, leaving her and their two sons behind.
It’s rated R, and while aspects of the film are crude to show the difference in the European culture versus American culture, the raw and real conversations between the family were very interesting and relatable.
